Configuring Email Autoresponders

Going on vacation or out of the office? An autoresponder automatically replies to incoming emails with a pre-written message.

Setting Up an Autoresponder

  1. Log in to Plesk and click Mail.
  2. Click on the email address you want to set the autoresponder for.
  3. Go to the Auto-Reply tab.
  4. Check the box for Switch on auto-reply.
  5. Enter the subject line (e.g., "Out of Office: [Original Subject]") and the body of your message.
  6. (Optional) Define a specific date to automatically turn off the autoresponder by checking "Switch off auto-reply on" and setting the date.
  7. Click OK.

The system is smart enough to reply only once to a specific email address per day, preventing endless auto-reply loops with other servers!
