Customizing Error Pages

  • 22 Esta resposta foi útil?

Instead of a boring default "404 Not Found" page, you can create custom, branded error pages that guide lost visitors back to your working website links.

Enabling Custom Error Documents

  1. Go to Websites & Domains and choose the domain you want to configure.
  2. Click on Hosting & DNS, then select Hosting Settings.
  3. Make sure the checkbox for Custom error documents is enabled, then click OK.

Editing the Error Files

  1. Go back to your domain's dashboard and click on the Error Pages button (usually found under Hosting & DNS or advanced tools).
  2. You will see a list of standard HTTP errors (e.g., 400 Bad Request, 401 Unauthorized, 403 Forbidden, 404 Not Found, 500 Internal Server Error).
  3. Click on the error code you want to customize (like `404 Not Found`).
  4. Plesk will open an HTML editor. Paste your custom HTML, CSS, and branded content into this box.
  5. Click OK. Your custom error page is now live!
