A professional email address (like info@yourdomain.com) builds trust with your visitors. Setting one up in Plesk takes only seconds.
Creating an Email Address
- Log in to Plesk and click on Mail in the left navigation pane.
- Click the Create Email Address button.
- Type the left part of the email address (e.g., "contact" or "john"). If you have multiple domains, select the correct one from the dropdown.
- Create a strong password, or click "Generate" to let Plesk create a highly secure one for you.
- Set a mailbox size limit if desired (to prevent one user from filling up all your server storage).
- Click OK.
Accessing Your Mail
Once created, you can read and send emails in two ways:
Webmail
Simply click the Webmail icon next to your email address in Plesk to open Roundcube or Horde. You can log in from any browser worldwide immediately.
Mail Client (Outlook / Apple Mail)
Click the "i" (info) icon next to your email address in Plesk to view the manual setup settings for IMAP and SMTP, which you can use to connect your mobile phone or desktop apps.
