Managing Spam Filter Settings

  • 6 Hjalp dette svar dig?

Tired of receiving junk mail? Plesk includes a built-in SpamAssassin filter that evaluates incoming messages and assigns them a spam score.

Enabling the Spam Filter

  1. Go to Mail and click on your email address.
  2. Click the Spam Filter tab.
  3. Check the box to Switch on spam filtering for this email address.
  4. Choose what to do with spam messages:
    • Mark spam messages: Adds `***SPAM***` to the subject line so you can filter it in outlook.
    • Delete all spam messages: Automatically destroys them.
    • Move to Spam folder: Places them in the Junk/Spam folder, which you can check via Webmail anytime. (Highly Recommended)
  5. Click OK.

Advanced: Whitelists and Blacklists

If you click on Show Advanced Settings, you can define specific email addresses or entire domains (e.g. `*@annoyingdomain.com`) to always block (Blacklist) or always allow (Whitelist) regardless of their spam score.
