Tired of receiving junk mail? Plesk includes a built-in SpamAssassin filter that evaluates incoming messages and assigns them a spam score.
Enabling the Spam Filter
- Go to Mail and click on your email address.
- Click the Spam Filter tab.
- Check the box to Switch on spam filtering for this email address.
- Choose what to do with spam messages:
- Mark spam messages: Adds `***SPAM***` to the subject line so you can filter it in outlook.
- Delete all spam messages: Automatically destroys them.
- Move to Spam folder: Places them in the Junk/Spam folder, which you can check via Webmail anytime. (Highly Recommended)
- Click OK.
Advanced: Whitelists and Blacklists
If you click on Show Advanced Settings, you can define specific email addresses or entire domains (e.g. `*@annoyingdomain.com`) to always block (Blacklist) or always allow (Whitelist) regardless of their spam score.
