Managing Custom Nameservers

  • 6 ?האם התשובה שקיבלתם הייתה מועילה

Nameservers tell the internet where your website is currently hosted. If you buy a domain at Ypsilon but host the actual website elsewhere (or use a CDN like Cloudflare), you will need to update your Nameservers.

How to Change Your Nameservers

  1. Log into your Ypsilon Client Area.
  2. Navigate to Domains > My Domains.
  3. Click the Manage icon next to the domain you want to update.
  4. Select Nameservers from the left sidebar.
  5. Select the option for Use custom nameservers (enter below).
  6. Delete the default Ypsilon nameservers and enter the ones provided by your external host or CDN (e.g., `lorna.ns.cloudflare.com` and `pablo.ns.cloudflare.com`).
  7. Click Change Nameservers.
DNS Propagation Warning: Nameserver changes are not instantaneous. Once you click save, it can take anywhere from 12 to 48 hours for the changes to fully propagate across all internet service providers worldwide.
