Keep your payment methods up-to-date to ensure automatic renewals succeed. Ypsilon securely tokenizes credit cards, meaning we never store your actual credit card number on our servers.
Adding a New Credit Card
- Log into your Client Area.
- Go to the Billing dropdown on the top nav bar and select Payment Methods.
- Click the Add New Credit Card button.
- Enter your card details using the secure, encrypted gateway form.
- Save the card. It is now safely stored as a token for future automated payments.
Updating the "Default" Payment Method
If you have multiple cards or PayPal accounts saved, you must tell the system which one to use first for automatic renewals.
- In the Payment Methods area, look at the list of saved cards/accounts.
- Click the star icon or Set as Default button next to your preferred method.
- If an old card has expired, click the Delete icon next to it to permanently remove it from your profile.
Note: If you are setting up recurring payments via PayPal, you will need to pay an open invoice and explicitly check the "Subscribe" or "Create Billing Agreement" button during checkout to grant us permission to auto-charge future invoices.
