If you no longer need a hosting plan, add-on, or server, you must submit an official cancellation request so our automated systems stop generating invoices for you.
Types of Cancellation
When you request cancellation, you will be given two choices:
- Immediate: This triggers the cancellation script right now. The server will be deleted within 24 hours (usually instantly). A prorated refund is generally not provided for unused time. Use this only if you want the data destroyed immediately.
- End of Billing Period: The best and most common choice. Your website remains fully active and online until the absolute final day of the current billing cycle you already paid for. On the final day, it will be automatically terminated, and no new renewal invoice will be generated.
Step-by-Step Cancellation Process
- Log into your Ypsilon Client Area.
- Navigate to Services > My Services.
- Click the Manage icon next to the service you want to cancel.
- In the left sidebar menu, click Request Cancellation.
- Provide a brief reason for cancellation (this helps us improve!) and select your desired cancellation type (End of Billing Period is recommended).
- Click the red Request Cancellation button.
