Setting up Zoho Mail on iPhone & Android

You can access your Zoho Mail on your mobile device using either the official Zoho Mail App (Recommended) or by configuring your device's native Mail app via IMAP/ActiveSync.

Method 1: The Official Zoho Mail App (Highly Recommended)

This is by far the easiest and most secure method, guaranteeing instant push notifications and calendar sync.

  1. Open the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Search for and download "Zoho Mail".
  3. Open the app and select Sign In.
  4. Enter your full business email and password. That's it! Everything is automatically configured.

Method 2: IMAP Configuration (Native Mail Apps like Apple Mail or Outlook)

If you prefer to use your phone's built-in mail client or Microsoft Outlook, you will need to add an IMAP account manually.

App-Specific Passwords: If you have Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled on your Zoho account, your regular password will not work here. You must log into Zoho Webmail, go to "My Account" > "Security", and generate an App-Specific Password to use in place of your normal password below.

Incoming Server Settings (IMAP):

  • Server Name: imap.zoho.eu (or `.com` if your account isn't EU-hosted)
  • Port: 993
  • Require SSL: Yes
  • Username: Your full email address

Outgoing Server Settings (SMTP):

  • Server Name: smtp.zoho.eu (or `.com`)
  • Port: 465 (with SSL) or 587 (with TLS)
  • Require Authentication: Yes
